The MAHO Show in Columbus is a fantastic weekend! I always come back pumped up and more motivated and proud of our industry. Mandi and I enjoy the lectures of course and learn so much. This year because of circumstances we had to (in reality, got to) take Gianna with us. She was so good! How many industries can say they were able to take their 5 year old and still participate in all the things we needed to. She’s obviously not your normal 5 year old but still.. my joke was she’s the only “Employee of the Month” 13 months in a row I’ve ever heard about. 😂 We are so gonna miss our Tuesdays and Fridays when she goes to kindergarten next month. 🥹

We also had the privilege to include Jada (our 2nd oldest and huge part of our stores) this year and that too was awesome for us. In truth, if Jada didn’t say yes to going we may not have made it. But she did and I was so happy to brag on her and expose her to the different careers that are involved with all we do. It was great for her and I believe she came back with a new perspective that will hopefully carry on to bigger and better things for her. Whatever that may be.

We didn’t get enough pictures like we did last year but we did get a couple. Thanks so much to Marcy and her family and to everyone that makes the weekend what it is. It definitely feels special to us! I hope Mandi and I become more involved and help with the evolution of the organization and our industry as we continue to prioritize health in our own lives and our communities in the future. Thank you!

These two pictures were taken a couple weeks apart but I was excited to get the one today with Mick.. I had already taken the one with Margie..

Two of my absolute favorite customers! Margie is 89 and Mick is 91 and they have been married for over 40 years now. Both happened to drive here separately (by themselves just to be clear) to see me and just say hey and get a couple small things they needed.

Mick always crouches down and maybe throws in a push up or two and then gets up and bounces around and throws a couple jabs at me.
I wouldn’t have wanted to try him when he was a young man! 😉 He’s hilarious and full of life!

Margie, one of my favorite people ever, just lights up the whole store and graciously speaks good things in every breath and to anyone that is lucky enough to be in the vicinity to hear her. She is so special.

They are amazing! “Sharp as a tac” as the saying goes, and they never leave me without impressing and inspiring me more to be healthy and to try to put smiles on peoples faces in my walk in this life. So much respect to their whole being!! I love them!

Perfect examples of why I fell in love with what I get to do as a career. So blessed and lucky.
