Hey y’all!

To start off we would like to introduce ourselves as Christi Dorrance and Justin Mabe, the owners of Chula Vista Farms, LLC in Cloverdale, AL. Justin’s family reached out to us in 2024 regarding family land that they were ready to sell. Justin had already let them know we were interested when the time was right. This was Justin’s dream to buy the land and have a farm one day. I also, have always dreamed of living on a farm. So, here we are two years later living on 13+ acres and raising our favorite birds, growing fruit trees and raising our fur babies (5 dogs-Klein, Kona, Kip, Riggin, and BoBo). We have chickens, ducks, and quail currently. We will offer weekly farm fresh chicken eggs, quail eggs and fruit (peaches, blueberries, and apples) once it’s ready to harvest. We will make a post each week of what is available. The name, Chula Vista Farms, comes from Decatur, AL where I (Christi) grew up. My family moved to a neighborhood when I was around 4 years old that was barely inside the city limits and had the most beautiful views. The name of the neighborhood was Lake Chula Vista and my parents still live there today. When we were coming up with names for the farm, we both knew Chula Vista had to be in the name because of how pretty it is out here on the land and in the county. We are so excited to start this journey and want to thank y’all for joining us and supporting our dream!!
