At our feedlot we grow all of our feed except liquid mineral and dried distillers grain. Distillers was on the list today so Jon and Rhett made the haul to the ethanol plant.

Today was a success. (only one argument while moving cattle all day today!😅 Come on, what’s moving cattle without yelling and screaming to make the neighbors say out-loud, them kahnke’s must be at it again! 🤪lol)
On a serious note, the chaos can get overbearing real fast. In the 19 years of doing ag with this guy it has challenged us not only as a family but also our marriage and our self-confidence. Agriculture requires some pretty tough skin and I struggle to find that more now then ever. Fear and anxiety take the reins and quickly I forget who God made me to be, my purpose, and everything that truly matters. What made this such a success today? I prayed. I prayed when I felt that lump in my throat warning me fear was back. I kicked it to the curb and asked Jesus to take over.
When the days are tough here’s what Jon reminds me of:
YOU ARE ENOUGH
YOU ARE STRONG
YOU ARE LOVED

I pray this helps just one couple know they are not alone in fighting this fight.
