“Rosalina” is a character that our youngest child invented to act as her troublemaking nemesis.
After bringing home this Gulf Coast Native sheep, we just knew that her name had to the same.

The sheep were moved over into pen 2 this morning. It was fresh and lovely with a fun hill to run up and down. Her first opportunity, Rosalina found a spot in the fence and broke out… into pen 1. There was no grass in pen 1, so she sat outside of the gate and pouted all by herself. The other sheep just cruised around snacking on the fresh plants in pen 1.

Take away: The shepherd leads us to the best field. How many times have we jumped the fence to follow our own path? How many times have we wound up stranded in a pen that was empty? How often do we wish that we had just trusted the shepherd who cares for us and wants us to thrive?
