It is prickly pear season on the ranch. We have had some of the best fruit this season, due to early rainfall. We are providing our high quality nectar to the Windmill Winery, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. We will soon be providing our nectar to Healing Earth Farms in the next few weeks. Products by our partners are prickly pear sorbet and prickly pear margaritas.

if you had a disability , you would understand!

To the person who reported my vehicle for being parked in the disabled spot at Target… I hope you got whatever sense of victory you were looking for. 😐

I ran inside for what was supposed to be a quick stop, and when I came back out, my vehicle was already being towed away like it had been abandoned there for hours.

Let me be clear — I was not gone for some crazy amount of time. I was gone for less time than it takes a Target employee to unlock the deodorant cabinet. 💀

And somehow, in that tiny window of time, somebody reported it, a tow truck showed up, and suddenly I’m standing there watching my car disappear.

How does something happen that fast?

What really bothered me was the way people around acted like this was some kind of public justice moment. One woman even pointed at the sign while my vehicle was being towed, like she had personally saved the entire parking lot.

Meanwhile, there were still disabled spots open. Nobody was blocked from shopping. Nobody was circling the lot unable to park. So why did this need to turn into a full towing situation within minutes?

Now I’m stuck dealing with towing fees, paperwork, stress, and figuring out transportation because a stranger decided they needed to teach me a lesson.

Maybe people will say I’m the villain here for questioning it, but I still think the whole thing was extreme.

Wouldn’t a warning have made more sense? Or are we really at the point where a few minutes in the wrong spot means instant tow, public shaming, and hundreds of dollars in fees?

I posted something but it disappeared.
Will try again.
Great Pyrenees are bred to be outside dogs. Their job, and i mean they need one, is to guard and protect something.

You are doing them a great disservice by keeping them as inside dogs.

Their behavior will not improve!.

Four years ago, Alex vanished the night burglars broke into his owner’s home and left the front door wide open.

In the fear and confusion, he ran into the darkness…

and never came back.

Alex was a Great Pyrenees with the softest heart.

He trusted everyone.

He followed voices instead of roads.

He had never known what it meant to survive alone.

But overnight, his whole world disappeared.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into years.

People told his owner to let go.

They said no dog could survive that long.

The posters faded.

The calls stopped coming.

Even hope began to feel impossible.

But his owner never stopped searching.

Because when you love someone deeply, part of your heart keeps waiting… no matter how much time passes.

Every walk, every quiet street, every shelter visit carried the same silent wish:

“What if today is the day I find him?”

And then, four years later, on a completely ordinary afternoon…

He saw a Great Pyrenees standing at the edge of a quiet road.

Older now.

Thinner.

He is the best president ever.
