Whipped up a batch of our low glycemic Birthday Mash Up cookie dough to freeze and have ready to pull out and bake for this weekend’s market. A chocolate cookie base with white and semi-sweet chips, rich vanilla notes in the background, dye-free sprinkles, and only 18g of carbs per cookie! Delicious and slightly less guilt.

Market prep is in full swing in our kitchen today. Cookies are prepped and ready to be baked, salsa is being made fresh as I grab peppers out of the garden then going straight into containers, and the menu board is being redone. 🥳

Another batch of Serranos, jalapeños, pequin, and cubanelles for Papa’s salsa Fresca. Habaneros are already harvested and waiting. If you’ve been waiting for spicy, this is it. 🌶️ We will have this at La Vernia Market Days this weekend and Schultze’s Trade Days on the 20th. Come find us!

So many of the dads who stop by our booth ask if we have any spicier salsas— and for this market, we’re going to bring just that! We’ll have our regularly offered jars of salsa but we’ll also be bringing fresh salsa that packs extra heat. 🔥 Keep an 👀 out!

Y’all bought out our confetti cake cookies in the first hour, as well as duck eggs, and cleared out our produce basket! We’re so grateful for the support.
