This post is simply to say THANK YOU! 🤍
Thank you for following along, for being so kind, and for making this little corner of the internet such a positive place. I can honestly say I’ve hardly ever encountered a rude person here, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for sharing our posts, recommending me to others, leaving kind comments, reaching out, and even becoming friends along the way. It truly means more than you know!
If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m not a drama-filled person. I avoid it as much as possible because I have too many good things in my life to give my energy to negativity. I love JESUS, my family, my homestead, my friends, my chickens, and my goats. What more could a girl ask for? Even on the hard days, I have so much to be grateful for, and I do my best to keep my focus on the good.
I also want to thank y’all for being patient with me and understanding how I do things. I’m not a large-scale breeder like some of my friends. I’m very selective with my pairings and picky about the quality of my own stock, but at the end of the day, this is genuinely just a hobby for me—a hobby that brings me so much happiness!
I love cleaning my coops and pens, MOWING grass, spending time outside with my animals, hand-feeding them, gardening, and simply being productive around the homestead. It might sound strange to some, but there’s something so fulfilling about working with my hands and caring for the things I love. And yes, I eat my pretty eggs, too. 😂 Sorry, guys!
On top of all that, I’m a busy sports mom to some amazing kids, work a demanding full-time job, and our calendar is always full of activities. Because of that, I’m a seasonal breeder, with spring typically being when I have eggs available.
To keep this enjoyable and manageable, I don’t keep waitlists or take preorders. When I have eggs available, I’ll post pictures of what I have, and they’ll be first come, first served, whether you’re local or need them shipped. This is simply the best way for me to share my birds with y’all without turning something I love into a source of stress. I want to keep this fun, and I hope you can understand that!
My breeds and projects include:
🐣 Black Copper Marans
🐣 Silverudd’s Blue
🐣 Welsummers
🐣 Olive Eggers
🐣 Ermine Ameraucana
🐣 Bloomy projects
Eggs will be offered in mixed dozens, depending on availability.
Please remember that I’m a small breeder by choice. My family, my own well-being, and the health and well-being of my birds will always come first. I want my birds to be healthy, happy, and have plenty of space to thrive, which means I don’t keep huge breeding groups or produce eggs on a large scale. I know my limits, and I’m happy keeping things this way because it allows me to enjoy this hobby without losing sight of what matters most.
At the end of the day, I’m just a girl who loves Jesus, loves her family deeply, and finds so much joy in her animals and little homestead. I’m incredibly thankful that I get to share a little piece of my life with all of you.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my page, and for making this community what it is. Your kindness never goes unnoticed, and I appreciate y’all more than you know! 🫶
