GPR Farms began as Arroyo Grande when Guillermo P Rodriguez bought 10 acres of land down in FL City sometime in the 1980s. He began planting tropical trees around the property and sublet several acres to a banana grower. In 1992 hurricane Andrew, which was a catastrophic category 5, came through and flattened everything! Here, his entire family would gather on holidays or just to get together and
roast a pig en la caja china. Sadly GPR passed away at 89 years of age back in 2019 and his son Bill Rodriguez has worked hard to keep his legacy alive, renaming the farm in his dad's name, GPR, and continuing to expand the product line. Today GPR Farms produces tropical fruits such as guanabana (sour sop), anon, purple anon, guava, papaya, mamey, nispero, and calabaza squash. Please know that a lot of love goes into the care and growth of each and everyone of these trees, so that it can produce the best fruit possible. We are not open to the public, but you can find our products at markets and retailers in the S. If you have any questions on any of our products, please don't hesitate to send us a message.
