Lower temperatures are right around the corner!

Our merry band of farmers has been at it all summer breaking down our last season, harvesting fruit, cultivating pumpkins and other summer crops, mulching the beds, tending to the fruit forest and propagating plants in the nursery.

The end of the summer means the beginning of a new season here in the tropics. We are so excited! ☀️

We were honored to join WOW Center | Making Miami More Inclusive in recognizing everyone in their workforce and culinary programs this last week! Especially our Teammates: Tyler, Cathy, Billy, Robert, Alexis and Nick. A long time ago the WOW Center was one of the first organizations to send a group on a field trip to the farm and our continued partnership warms our hearts everyday, we are so proud to work alongside such an incredible organization. Friday was our last day of the vegetable season. 28 weeks (plus another month or two before getting everything set up) cultivating lovely organic vegetables along with what we forage from our fruit forest to share with our community. We’re so grateful for all the CSA members who were a part of our farm this season, everyone here is so proud to feed you!

We’re touched by all the inquiries we’ve been receiving about joining our CSA program for the remainder of this season. Everyone here works so hard growing fresh, certified organic, vegetables and fruit for our Miami community. We are maxed out for this season.. especially with all the crop losses we suffered from the frost a couple of weeks back.
We’ve taken note of increased demand for our products from folks who’d like to receive produce from our farm and help create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. As such we’re delighted to annouce we’ll be increasing our capacity for next season.

Happy Valentines 💘 from the farm! It’s also just about the half way point of our vegetable season. We’ve spent the last week and a half recovering from the near freezing temperatures 🌡️ we experienced, replacing crops that couldn’t take the cold 🥶 and getting everything in order for the rest of the season. It’s only going to get hotter from here 🔥
