✨ A Truly Magical Surprise at Iron Tree! ✨

In our last update, we hinted at a few surprises… and this one might be our favorite.

While we’re away, the amazing Pepe & Audrey Serrano are stepping in for a full Serrano’s Takeover at Iron Tree! 🌮🍻💛

We’re so grateful, not just because they’re filling our space, but because they’re doing it out of pure love for this community.

From 11/26-12/2 (9am-8pm), you’ll get Serrano’s incredible flavors mixed with Iron Tree’s spirit. It’s uplifting, delicious, and exactly what Ross and I needed so we didn’t leave y’all hangin’.

And rumor has it… if you can solve Audrey’s riddle, she just might show off her moon walk and do the best Micheal Jackson you’ve ever seen 😉

Show them all the love, they’re showing up for us, for you, and for this community we all call home.

Meowdy from Iron Tree,

Winter is rolling in like a cat who insists on sitting on the one warm spot in the whole house, which, is in our hearts, and honestly? We’re not mad.

Just like the seasons shift, so are we. We’re freshening things up with a cozy winter menu, some fun specials, and new hours to match the vibe.

Our winter hours:
Thurs–Sat: 12pm–6pm
Sun: 10am–3pm (brunch forever, don’t worry)

We’re still cooking everything from scratch, still slingin’ that Florissant flavor, and giving you the kind of Iron Tree love that sticks to your soul… and, of course, the Funky Town energy that makes you wanna boogie between bites.

We want to say this from our hearts. Writing our last post was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do. Your messages, hugs, and support… whew. You’ve wrapped us in more love than we ever expected, and we feel every single bit of it. Thank you for holding space for us, and for Keith, during such a tender season.

Just a reminder: Iron Tree will be closed 11/26–12/3 while we head out of town to soak up every moment of quality time with Pops. We hope your Thanksgiving is overflowing with warmth, laughter, and the kind of food that makes your soul sigh happily.

We’ll be back 12/4, with our new winter menu, ready to celebrate life, love, laughter, and the sparkly beginning of Christmas magic. Keep an eye on our feed, we’ve got some beautiful things brewing.

Hey Iron Tree Family,

By now, many of you have heard the news. Closing and preparing to sell our beloved Costello’s has been one of the hardest decisions of our lives, but choosing not to spend these last precious moments with our family would be even harder. ALS has been a cruel road, and watching someone you love fight this disease changes you forever.

Iron Tree will still be movin’, groovin’, and serving up the good stuff, but things will look a little different for a while. Hours will shift, the menu will simplify, and we’ll be taking intentional pauses as needed. We will be closed 11/26–12/2, and again beginning 12/24, remaining closed until we’ve had the time and space to heal.

And as painful as this chapter has been, we’re deeply thankful for our beautiful little community, and the chance to sit beside him, hold his hand, and fight these last days together. In our family, in our community, and in the ALS world… “we fight together”.

Thank you, truly, for your patience, your compassion, and the way this community loves with its whole heart. We feel it. We need it. And we’re grateful for it more than we can say.

Tomorrow we’re kicking off Oktoberfest (and keeping it going until next Sunday) with the very first NoFloCo Flame Fest, a brand new shindig to celebrate our people, our town, and our funky good times. 🎉

✨ $20 entrance (for the NoFloCo Crew)�✨ Doors swing at 5:30pm�✨ Live tunes spark up at 6:30pm �✨ Scratch-made eats and German specials + house-brewed beers �✨ The best people you’ll ever meet (that’s you, NoFloCo!)

🚨 IT & FT On Pause, the Queen Demands Cake🚨

Heads up, party people—we’re closed tomorrow (8/17)! Why? Because the boss is leveling up and taking the day OFF. No emails. No chaos. No fryer burns. Just cake, naps, and well-deserved peace. 🎂✌️

So if you're looking for burgers, beers, or bad decisions—hold that thought until Wednesday, when we'll be back slinging scratch-made magic, pouring cold brews, and doing what we do best: keeping it funky.

Thanks for letting us take a minute to breathe, celebrate, and not cry in the walk-in.

Hey, funky friends—quick change of plans!

Iron Tree & Funky Town will be closed today because life pulled a fast one (in the best way): family’s in town, and we’re hitting pause to soak up the good stuff.

Truth is, we’ve spent a long time putting business before birthdays, burgers before bonding, and fries before feelings. But life’s been reminding us lately: these moments don’t come back.

So today, it’s all about the people who raised us, loved us, and told us not to run with knives (even though we still don't listen).

We’ll be back tomorrow with all the good stuff: house-baked bread, juicy burgers, crispy hand-cut fries, and small-batch brews—served up with full hearts and a little more perspective.

Thanks for rolling with us. Make sure to call the ones you’ve been meaning to. Hold the moment a little longer. Make space for what feeds your soul.

And tonight—raise a glass to love that lingers, laughter that heals, and the quiet kind of joy that sneaks up when you're sharing a meal with your favorite people.
