MGD and Cowboys Paint had a BEAUTIFUL bull calf yesterday and we can’t wait to see the color change on this little dude! This is one to watch over the next year as we let him grow and show us what he’s got and see if he has to stay a bull or if he’s going to be a massive big horned steer. What’s your thoughts? Tell us what you’d do and let us know if your in the market for either one.

Can’t wait to meet everyone at the TLBAA Horn Showcase. MGD is once again entered into Bull Alley to show everyone his bull power and color and gentle disposition. Please stop by and talk to us while your there. We have plenty of semen available and we can also discuss leasing options.

While MGD is away getting semen pulled he’s still doing his job. Cows got fed early this morning while the TX temperatures were in the high 70’s for a change and D-R MARY, CI345766 brought her newest addition up to the feed corral! Meet the newest addition to the Borrowed Valley Farms herd. Please pray for rain as you can tell by the pasture conditions we need it in North Texas, we’ve already been feeding hay for a month.

Big Day for MGD, took him out of the pasture with a group of Heifers and dropped him off to get semen drawn so there’s plenty of Heifer Sexed and Conventional Semen available while he’s at the Horn Showcase in El Reno, OK the first week of October! MGD as been in the Severe Drought of North Texas and he has been able to maintain his weight and can’t wait to see how much horn he has put on since last years Horn Showcase! He looks great in his Working Clothes!

Add another bull calf to the list of new born calves. Went out to feed this morning and the two older calves didn’t come up so after a short walk I know why. Sunday School hadn’t got out after church yet so I had to go let the mommas out of the fed pen so they could go check them out of Sunday school and claim their calf. Angel Rose is a great Momma. MGD is throwing really nice calves for us. I sure hope everyone is praying for rain as we could use it in Texas with these wildfires and the pasture conditions.
