Nic and Lisa here! Before our production business even had a name, I was scripting this video so our farm animals could make a cameo! 🐂 🐔 🐐

I started working in production when I was a teenager, operating cameras at a TV station. Then in front of and behind the camera for 30 years reporting, writing and producing TV series, national commercials and marketing. Nic worked on TV shows and commercials as well, but he also had a career in the Merchant Marine and as a firefighter.

⛰️ 🚜 When we moved to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia in 2020 to start a farm and live a quieter life, I wasn't sure if production was still the path. But I saw a need and wanted to help. Neighbors, nonprofits and business owners who could use more visibility. 🎥 Videos for their website, strategies for social media, and coaching for camera confidence.

I think storytelling will always be in my blood. And I love seeing people follow their dreams and find success, which looks different for everyone.

🎬 For me, it's being able to create videos and help YOU communicate your value on camera. 🎤 But I also love being able to take lunch breaks in a pasture and share my apples with some goats!

The first part of my career was about becoming good at what *I* do. This part of my life is about helping others become recognized for being good at what *they* do.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Mountain Valor Fest yesterday! 🇺🇲 I enjoyed being the MC and meeting the many sponsors, business owners and veterans that come together for this annual community event. (And also dancing to the live bands: Glam'r Kitties and Dr Phil's Kimo Therapy!)

The mission of this annual festival is to connect rural veterans and their families with organizations that can help them navigate benefits, health care, employment, education, and other services available to veterans.

Watching the flag retirement during the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is always a moving display of respect to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

I'm grateful to have met some amazing folks who attended and took part in this year's event. ❤️🇺🇲❤️

Excited for Mountain Valor Fest this Saturday in Floyd at Crooked Mountain!

The Remembrance Ceremony is a moving tribute to those lost on 9/11 and in the wars that followed.

Kate Gonzalez, you did a fabulous job in your live interview!

This festival is free and begins at noon with live music, food trucks, family activities in the Kid Zone, plus state and local resources on site to help veterans and their families navigate available benefits.

Military parachuting team kicks off the ceremony at 5:30! 🇺🇲 🪂 🇺🇲
