FOR SALE!!!!!
It’s been a good run - 11 years! And it’s still going, but the energy has waned, the relationship has ended, and the pursuits are elsewhere. We are ready to pass the baton of this incredible adventure, called Fat Bean, on to someone else. Calling in someone or (ones) with just as much, or more, enthusiasm than we had when we first started. Folks we can hand the keys to and know that not only will they turn the key, but they will continue to care for, to head in new directions, to expand the capacity and add their interests and ideas into the mix to make this enterprise an even more incredible adventure for the next decade plus!
We are selling Fat Bean Farm & Food Co. including our commercial building (722 Floyd Hwy S.), our festival food-vending booth, our ferment food product line, and our food truck (trailer). In addition to this, the new owners will also receive all branding, marketing materials, recipes, procedures, a new custom built website, and expert consulting in the field for one year.
The commercial building has been primarily used for storage for our business and additional income from renting out the apartment upstairs, but could be converted to a commercial kitchen space and living space for the new owners if desired. This building is only 5 mins south of Floyd.

The festival vending operation includes contracts and contacts to major festivals in the area such as FloydFest, Yogajam, Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival as well as bigger events outside of SWVA such as Bonnaroo and Electric Forest.
The food truck, or as we like to call it: Lil’ Wagon, is fully operational, up to code and has been successfully running for nine years going to many local breweries, wineries, and a list of customers for private events. We continue to receive regular requests to serve local events and are well known in the area for our delicious food.
We trust the right and perfect buyers will receive this message and know without a doubt that it is their turn to captain the ship. And we promise to help you with any challenges you have along the way to the best of our ability so that, Fat Bean Farm & Food Co. can continue making real food from scratch because Real Food is Good Medicine.
