Behind the scenes of farming/2nd shift. To say proud of my family is an understatement! This boy and his sister get up around 5 am feed animals and then heads off to school, then football practice, comes home and starts what we call 2nd shift. We are starting to have fall calves and unfortunately we just had one we believe is blind. My wife on her way home notice one of the mommas looking in the water hole kinda weird and was on phone with me so we decided that they need to go check and sure enough her baby had gotten stuck in the water. So "Cowboy" decided to go in and save him, all before we go in for the night. Its always something around our place. I wouldn't be able to do the the things we do with the restaurant or farm if it wasn't for family. I just wanted to say thank you to them. Love you guys.
PS. Those ain't boots either!!
