Our Story
God has blessed our family. It all started with Tobias Schilmiller coming from Germany.....fast forward....Louis Schilmiller bought our current farm in the 1940’s, married and had three children. Now with the fourth generation playing in the fields, we farm as one big happy family. Every member works off the farm but we come together to keep our small farm going. We are not a tourist attraction, but we enjoy letting others see what happens on our small farm in our highly populated county. We grow food such as potatoes, we chop wood for fire wood, grow pumpkins for neighbors and even work on 4H projects when we find the time.
Long story short....we are a small farm with full time jobs and farming-hearts. Farming and raising kids is hard to do in today’s society... We enjoy showing farm life, almost to what it was like years ago for the previous generations. We want our fourth generation children to enjoy the same experiences their fathers had. We want to share our experiences with others so that you too, can see the joys of farm life.
