Cleverdon Farms is looking for a full time employee to operate a rough terrain fork lift in a sod harvesting enterprise. Must be able bodied, quick to learn, and mechanically inclined. Primary duties will include picking up and staging pallets of sod in the field and then loading those pallets onto trucks and trailers. Other duties will include all sorts of odd jobs around the farm, including manual labor, when otherwise not busy, including on rain days. Must be of good character and have professional references. Experience is preferred but not required.

We have been in business for over 90 years in Baldwin County and would love to find someone who wants to be around for the long term.

If you have been laid off and can get a recommendation from your former employer you will be given priority. Please let us know of any such circumstances.

If you are not of good character, please do not apply. There will be a background check.

Work hours are from 7 AM each day until the job is finished, may be after 6 PM. Work days are Sunday - Friday most weeks.
