Here at Red Dawg Ranch, our honeybees are already hard at work visiting the dandelion and lavender growing right here at home. These beautiful herbs inspire many of the handcrafted products I make, including nourishing balms, soothing salves, whipped tallow creams, facial oils, serums, and handmade soaps.
I currently grow herbs like dandelion, lavender, comfrey, and lemon balm, rosemary, yarrow and while I do not grow every single herb I use just yet, I am working toward growing more and more of my own ingredients in the future.
Every product is made in small batches with intention, love, and a deep appreciation for the plants, bees, and simple ingredients God has given us. 💛

Meet our Swamp Soothe Bug Bite Balm — a little tin of comfort for itchy outdoor skin.

Living near the Okefenokee means we know all about mosquitoes, gnats, ants, and all the little biters that come with Southern weather. This balm was made with skin-loving herbal infused oils and beeswax to help soothe those annoying itchy spots after time outside.

🌿 Plantain-infused sunflower oil
🌼 German chamomile-infused sweet almond oil
🐝 Beeswax
🧈 Mango butter
💜 Lavender essential oil
🌱 Tea tree essential oil
❄️ A touch of peppermint essential oil

Plantain is one of my favorite “backyard apothecary” herbs for outdoor skin care, and German chamomile adds an extra gentle, calming touch. The peppermint gives just a little cooling feel, while the beeswax helps create a protective balm that stays where you put it.
