UPDATE:
Cranberry is officially a permanent resident on A Farm Like No Udder 🤩

She also fancies crashing the occasional La Havoc Baseball practice 😅

She is still living her best life here on the farm and Blue Dog has even warmed up to her (mostly).

Just in case you thought 3 calves in one week was the craziest thing that happened on the farm last week 😳 😵‍💫 🥴

Meet Cranberry.

We were in the right place at the right time and this little schnookums weasled her way into coming over for a farm visit. She likes it alright, clearly has just made herself at home. The OG Farm Dog, Blue, is not so sure we needed a new farm hand (check out the side eye he gave us 🤣).

We haven't made it "official" yet, but we are enjoying the test run with Cranberry.

Calf #3 is here!! We were lucky enough to catch it happening Saturday morning.

It was a morning like no udder 🤣

All three mama cows and calves are nursing beautifully.

All told, this calving season we have had:

1. Black Bull calf born Tues, 11/26
2. Red Heifer calf born on Black Friday, 11/29
3. Black Heifer calf born on Sat, 11/30

And we weren't expecting a single calf until mid-December!

Thankful they are here and healthy. Now, we have to decide if we want to try to milk these mamas 🥴 Cause, you know, we don't have enough to do around here already.

But raw milk sounds 🤤😋

For now, we are letting those calves get all that milky goodness so they can get "big and strawwwng" as our sweet Caroline says.

A surprise today! We weren't expecting our first calf for the season until December, but this little dude arrived early!

We are keeping a close eye on him since he is pretty early but he seems healthy so far and appears to have mastered the art of suckling.

This is our first calf conceived here on the farm!! He's pretty handsome!!
