Collecting eggs with Charlie!🐓💖🥚

Poor precious just wanted to lay her egg. I promise precious and Charlie have a very good relationship and Charlie is usually not this impulsive when it comes to collecting eggs. 🤣🤣🤣The chickens love her and know that she usually comes with treats.

New nesting boxes are all set up in the hen house! As you can see they still prefer the old funky nesting boxes. The bottom right is their favorite. The hen on the left was impatiently waiting for my Lavender Orpington to get out so she could lay her egg.

Built with a lot of sawdust, teamwork, and love. ❤️🐓 My husband and I (mainly my husband) built new nesting boxes for our hens using old materials we had on the property. Here’s to hoping the girls approve—and reward us with more baskets full of beautiful eggs! 🥚✨
