I will not be at the Lafitte Street Farmers Market this coming Saturday, 9/5/26 for Labor Day. I also won't be harvesting in time for Mandeville deliveries next Tuesday, 9/8/26. Enjoy the holiday and will see you the following week. The garden is looking good in spite of the heat.

July 31 farm tour - it’s been hot!

I will be back at the Lafitte Street Farmers Market tomorrow (Saturday) from 9AM - 1PM. I will have very little bagged lettuce (sells out fast early in the week) but plenty of other greens like arugula, mizuna, braising mix and microgreens. The squash and cucumbers are going strong and the okra is starting to come on. The farm always look so green this time of year. You wouldn't think it was so hot looking at the picture!

I will be doing deliveries in Mandeville tomorrow (Tues 7/28) and will be back at the Lafitte Street Farmers Market on Saturday 8/1. I have bagged lettuce and spring mix that will sell out before the market. Plenty of other greens and veggies. You can order online for delivery or pickup at the farmers market on Saturday.

I will be doing deliveries into Mandeville this Tuesday 7/21. I won't be harvesting lettuce and greens until tomorrow morning so won't have updated inventory until Monday after lunch sometime. You can order up to 9 PM on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Lettuce is limited this time of year due to heat and will sell out. The Lafitte Street Farmers Market will be closed on Saturday for July 4th. I will be taking a few weekends off in July from the market but will still be doing weekly deliveries into Mandeville on Tuesdays.
