One year ago, we had a finished shop we legally couldn’t open.

After four months of waiting, we were introduced to the amazing Rosario Rodriguez, who connected us with Assemblyman Josh Hoover’s office. Their team helped get a state inspector to our door shortly thereafter, and we were finally able to open our doors.

This week, Sacramento County BERC- Sacramento County Sacramento County Office of Economic Development named us their 2026 Sustainable Business Award winner for Eco Innovation, with Rosario introducing us at the ceremony, exactly one year to the week from opening day.

Incredibly humbled and grateful.
