Today, we’re welcoming Dave & Debbie to the Bus Stop Stories! 🍺

Dave & Debbie have been along for the ride through countless b**rs, plenty of laughs, and more memories than we can count. They’re the kind of friends who show up, stick around, and make the journey a whole lot more fun.

Our kind of people.

But enough from us. Here’s their Bus Stop Story in their own words.

"We have known Erik and Lisa for a long time. Dave and Erik both attended the same high school, but they didn’t really become friends until they both ended up at Chico State. Those were good times. The college years were largely spent making great memories with new friends and drinking b**r. It appears, if you make a lot of friends who all like to drink b**r, you have a solid foundation for opening a brewery someday.

We can be found at the Bus quite often. Erik and Lisa have done a wonderful job creating a place we love to hang out and a place we are happy to introduce to new people. It’s our go-to spot if we just want to go out for a little bit, catch some live music, and/or meet up with friends.

We have been big supporters of Red Bus Brewing from the very beginning. Red Bus has also been incredibly supportive of our family. When our son was 12, he played in a rock band with other preteens. Erik let them play at the brewery twice.

On a heavier note, back in 2019, one of Dave’s brothers unexpectedly passed away. Red Bus held a “Community Day” and donated a portion of the sales to our sister-in-law. We are grateful for that support, and we love Red Bus Brewing Company.

Maybe that’s why Dave is a walking advertisement for the brewery. Pretty sure half his wardrobe is Red Bus gear.

After a hard day of clearing trails, there’s nothing like an ice cold b**r! What good timing - our friends at Red Bus Brewing Company in Folsom are partnering with Friends of Folsom Parkways to create a special Parkways Pilsner, available for pre-ordering on the Red Bus Brewing Company website (redbusbrew.com) during the month of October. A portion of the proceeds will go to supporting our ongoing work on the trails. Supplies are limited so get your orders in early.

But there’s no reason to wait for the new batch. Drop by Red Bus Brewing Company, 802A Reading Street, Historic Folsom and check out their selections, just like the groups of FoFP members shown here. You’ll have a great time!
