Well folks, I just picked my last varieties of peaches on Monday. Combo of Sunny J’s and Sweet September. Both have excellent flavor with a little more acidity because of the cooler nights. Thanks to everyone who supported me through this challenging peach season and allowed me to grow in Tennessee and here in the Burgh. Never thought I’d be a multi-state grower but here I am growing for flavor for you!

Hey folks! The next to the last variety is August Pride. Originated in 1989 Modesto California. A very nice balanced peach of sweetness and acidity. Also very nice size. Getting ready for Bloomfield. No Strip District tomorrow. Sorry about that. Bloomfield has been just too busy. The variety is a newer type called Sweet Henry. Thanks for supporting my passion.

Hey folks! The next variety to come off is from the 80’s out of Fresno Calif. A very nice balanced peach with sweetness and acidity. Endless Summer is its name. I’ll be at Bloomfield tomorrow with Mariah. Nate had to work. We are still short handed so no Strip District this week as well. Thanks for supporting my passion of growing and also fixation of not having people squeeze my peaches or rub their nose on them. Lol. You are all awesome!

Hey everyone! We will be at Bloomfield market tomorrow 9-1. We will not be doing the Strip market since Wholey’s will be closed. Sorry about that. We are just shorthanded. (Vandy will be at Bloomfield). Thanks for understanding. Enjoy the 4th!

Just came back to the farm from my peach orchard in Nashville. The variety this week is July Prince also a few yellow plums. Thanks again for supporting my growing passion.

Hey everyone! Just a note that I won’t be at the Strip District. I’ll be at the Bloomfield market with my kids on Father’s Day eve. The variety that I picked yesterday from my Nashville orchard is June Glo. Outstanding flavor! Also I picked a few white peaches and pluots. Both have extreme flavor. Thanks again for supporting my passion of growing tree fruit for all of you!
