Halbur's Heavenly Hill Delicious Lamb, Texel Sheep, Hands-on Farm Field Trips

bEWEtiful morning with my Texels ewes.
Some have buzz cuts because we ultrasound the size of their lamb chops.

Bo is getting to be a pretty big boy! Mom has definitely fed him well. He is almost 4 months old. He is one of my top NSIP rams from this year's lamb crop.

Use a Texel ram to add muscle and amazing growth to your flock! These boys were raised on pasture all grazing season. They have a buzz cut because their loin muscles were measured via ultra sound. Lots of data on these boys. NSIP flock.

We have all the data back on these girls...we did more physical checks today. Some of these Texels will be available very soon.

Sheep are prepping for a big day tomorrow-muscle ultrasound scanning! Some folks walk their sheep on treadmills, I just let my Texels eat grass to put on muscle.

While I'm sharing my favorite baby got back shots, here is
Halbur's Heavenly Hill #405. Sire Briar Lane Texels James Madison. He is a twin. He is only a little over 2 months old here...hunk 😍
He now resides at Hurley Sheep Farm in Iowa...I'm still feeling a little guilty for selling him before I got to use him here. I can't wait to his lambs at Kyle's.
