We’re working towards automation out here on the farm this year. It’ll take some work to get it right but we’re having fun learning!

This year we are starting from scratch in the vegetable/melon gardens. First up is the onion bed with 115 mostly Candy onions, which are a large hybrid, and we also have some Warrior onions which are a bunching variety. On the outside borders we planted three varieties of lettuce. It’s go time!

The Class of ‘25! These are the generation of caterpillars that will grow into the monarch butterflies that will migrate south, traveling over 3,000 miles to their winter home in the Michoacán Mountains of Mexico 🥰 We have definitely noticed an increased number of butterflies this year so we’re hopeful for an abundant migration season 🤩
