Excited to introduce Harvestacre Champagne Showers! This beautiful milking yearling is owned with our great friends at MilkSource Genetics LLC! Huge thank you to Harvest Acres, Keaton Pheonix and Mitch Anderson for making her available. Champagne Showers was just over 4 weeks fresh in this photo and has developed wonderfully since then! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young cow!

Our family absolutely loves Expo week. We look forward to it all year long. However, this year it took an unexpected turn. Beth looked great when she arrived but, in a day or two, the MilkSource team observed that she was off and decided to send her to the WI vet hospital to get checked out. Ultrasound showed that she had hardware, and she had surgery to remove the wire. To say we were deflated is an understatement and the next couple days were difficult for all of us. However, as we walked around the barns and people asked about Beth, we felt a genuine concern from everyone we spoke with. We also realized that nearly everyone has their own story about that special cow that took an unexpected turn. These caring people that we share Expo week with every year are the reason we love it so much. We talked about how incredibly hard the whole MilkSource team works with every cow, all year, for this one week, only to have it taken away. It occurred to us that we are so blessed to partner with MilkSource, the most genuine and talented people in the business. We have had the privilege to co-own some very special cows, in the past and present, which would not be possible without their generous invitation to join their team. So, Beth was not going in the ring, but it was time to enjoy the best show on earth and celebrate the success of all the great people that love showing like we do and we did just that! Thank you to Dr. Chelsea Holschbach and her team for their great care of Beth. She is home, doing well and we feel truly blessed!
