Heading down to Fond du Lac from the flightline is quick and easy, making it a perfect evening detour.
Route:
1. From Oshkosh, hop onto I-41 South.
2. Follow I-41 South for about 18 miles into Fond du Lac.
3. Take Exit 99 for WI-23 / Johnson Street.
4. Turn left onto WI-23 East / W Johnson Street.
5. The Rare Spirits will be just down the road on your left at 661 W Johnson Street.

If you know anything about founder Drew Black and the team at Circle City, you know they have an absolute radar for sourcing legendary barrels. But when we tasted this specific 13-year-old high-proof rye, we knew it was a "stop what you’re doing" kind of bottle.

🥃 The Liquid Inside

This isn't your average everyday rye. This is hyper-aged, high-proof, unfiltered luxury in a glass. Coming from the famous 95% rye, 5% malted barley mashbill, over thirteen years in heavy-char oak has completely transformed the liquid. The aggressive, punchy "dill and grass" notes of a young rye have vanished, replaced by a deep, dark, and oily complexity that will make bourbon lovers and rye purists completely lose their minds.

The Nose: Immediate, creamy mint chocolate chip ice cream, followed by rich pumpernickel bread and a subtle, mature lemon candy sweetness.
