FOR SALE: Registered Texel Ewe Lambs

This is a milestone year for us at Hilltop Acres Farm—it’s the first time we’ve ever had a group of registered Texel ewe lambs available for sale!

As our flock has grown, we’ve retained females to build our program, so having a group of ewe lambs to offer is something we’re really excited about. These January/February-born ewe lambs represent years of breeding decisions focused on growth, sound structure, maternal ability, and flock productivity.

Raised in our OPP & CL-free flock and RR scrapie resistant, these girls are the kind of females we believe can make a lasting impact in a breeding program. We’re proud of this group and excited to offer them to fellow shepherds looking to add quality Texel genetics to their flock.

Pasture Companion Available – Meet Wyatt!

Looking for a buddy for your horse—or just a sweet horse to love on? Wyatt might be the perfect fit!

He’s an 19-year-old Quarter Horse who’s friendly, curious, and super easy to have around. He’s an easy keeper, does well on hay, and has no health issues.

Wyatt is not being ridden, just looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can be a companion for another horse or simply be loved on and enjoy life. He’s currently alone and would be happiest with a buddy by his side.

**FOR SALE: Proven Sire**

Casanova is a proven two-year-old registered Texel ram looking for his next flock. I’ve used him for two breeding seasons and have been extremely happy with the lambs he produces. He’s a true lambing-ease ram that consistently throws lambs with good length, frame size, muscling, and excellent daily gains. Since using him, I’ve also seen an increase in lambing percentages.

One of my favorite things about Casanova is his disposition — very quiet and easy to work around. He’s halter broke, bucket trained, and easy enough to walk up to and change the crayon in his marking harness without needing to restrain him. He has never been aggressive or “rammy.”

To top it off, he’s backed by strong genetics, with the well-known Cambwell Trademark ram in his pedigree.

An amazing family and farm! Central Bridge Farms could use some extra support on Family Farm Day!🙏

The past few days have felt like a decade, and life on the farm has grown painfully silent in the absence of my husband, John. On Saturday I rushed him to the ER, and he’s been in the ICU since with serious complications affecting his heart, lungs, and kidneys.

Through it all, we’ve been reminded of Who is in control. Psalm 46:10 has been a comfort: “Be still, and know that I am God.”

We are so thankful for the love and support of our family, friends, and church. We’ve been surrounded by a community willing to step in on every level, and it has meant the world to us.

As for the farm—Family Farm Day will still be happening this Saturday from 10–4. While we won’t be offering tours this year, our farm store will be open for shopping, and there will be plenty of baby animals to pet and enjoy. We’ll also be serving homemade pasture-raised Angus hot dogs, burgers, and beef nachos. Anything people choose to donate for these meals will go directly toward John’s medical bills.
