It began on May 13, 2021. A chance encounter with two sweet little fellas on a day out and about with my husband changed everything. That grin and curled up nose (on me, not the pigs) let my husband know life was about to get interesting!! Almost two years later we’ve grown to 30 pigs (with more litters on the way) and 40-some chickens. There’s been a lot of learning in the last two years and I’m still an idiot farmer but I’m having a great time at it!

Let’s play a game! Olive is due to deliver any day now! Comment below on how many piglets you think she’ll have and her delivery date. The one closest to getting the date and count will win a dozen farm-fresh eggs!
(Have to be local to Forest City, NC to claim the eggs.)
Background info on Olive - this her 2nd litter, she had 7 last time and we have been on piglet watch since Saturday! What do you think???
