If you're wanting Cornish game hens for your Easter dinner this weekend, we have them. They will be butchered fresh, so not frozen. Join us on Saturday April 26th right here at the farm, for fellowship and farm fresh delights. Our 5pm cocktail hour is always a great time, followed by a meal you won't forget at 6. Here's this month's menu:
Starter - Shaved carrot and beet salad with arugula, served with a clementine and scallion dressing.
Main course - Beer braised leg of lamb roast (same day butcher), served with roasted baby potatoes, herbs, and onions. Mint sauce is available on request!
Dessert - Spiced rum carrot cake with homemade cream cheese frosting.
Seating is limited, so be sure to RSVP before we fill up. Phone, email, and website reservations are all available, and ticket prices are below. Pay at arrival.

We'd like to sincerely thank everyone who came out to our February supper club event last night. What a very special evening meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and serving everyone as they filled our home with love and friendship. What a wonderfully unique and effective way to bring people together. Despite my best efforts to the contrary, your pork was amazing Sam - thank you! We're blessed to be able to offer this experience to the community once per month, truly blessed.
The March supper club will have an Irish theme and will be held Saturday, March 15th. We'll see you then!

Our February Valentine's Day Supper Club will be held on Saturday February 15th, right here on the farm! 5pm cocktail hour, 6pm meal. If you haven't attended one of these you'll want to try it. It's a great way to spend a night out doing something unique and enjoy quality, farm fresh food. Here's the menu!
-Starter - Valentine's Day salad. Mixed greens, strawberries, blue cheese and sunflowers make up this classic first course, topped off with an aged balsamic vinaigrette made from scratch.
-Main course - Locally sourced pork roast dressed with coriander, thyme, and a roasted strawberry merlot glaze. Served with a side of mashed acorn squash from the garden and homemade dinner rolls.
-Dessert - Chocolate Pots De Creme - Served cold, and made with dark chocolate, brandy, coffee, heavy cream, and a whipped cream and raspberry garnish to top it off.
Fresh baked sourdough bread and a complimentary glass of wine will be served alongside your meal. Cost is 30 per person, 20 for children 12 and under.

February is here, and Heart Land Hill is once again open for business! We have new offerings and announcements happening all the time, so please make sure to stay up to date with everything that's happening around here. Here are February's announcements:
-We took our bull to market today. On February 18th he'll be ready for pick up and will be ready to sell, meaning we'll be offering USDA grade beef at that time. Ribeye steaks, ground, flat irons, and most standard cuts will be available. Quarter cow is also available with notice. If you're interested in some beef please let us know by sending us a message, or by calling the farm phone.

-Our bakery items are now available on Saturdays and on special occasions. Bakery items include our homemade sourdough bread, homemade pies, and dinner rolls. Please allow 24 hours to prepare your fresh bakery items.
-Our soup of the month is homemade chicken noodle. The soup is available by the pint and by the quart, and can be picked up anytime Mon - Sat.

Exciting news for our red meat lovers! Beef is on the way. We are now taking quarter and half beef orders, with arrival at the end of February. It's that time of year! Thank you for an awesome 2024 everyone, things are off to a great start. Now comes the one month of the year we'll use to prepare for the year ahead, and everything we'd like to accomplish during that time. We'll be selling a lot more of our farm poultry this year, along with some beef and veal, all raised right here. Lamb, goat, and rabbit will be available seasonally and upon request. We're also going to be selling a lot more of our bakery items, and are even in talks regarding a possible storefront location uptown for the microbakery branch of the operation. More to come on that.
In addition, lots more will be happening in the "events" department as well with our supper club happening monthly, weekly farm stand operations on the farm, and seasonal gatherings and picture taking events.
This January while we plan, we'll also be cleaning out stalls, refitting buildings, restructuring our livestock layout for the year, securing any needed supplies, etc. And of course none of the hard work does any good at all without a solid promotional campaign. Time to get to work on that too.
It's going to be a great year. We hope it is for you as well! We'll be staying very busy out here as always, and we look forward to serving you again beginning February 1st.
