The market garden is starting to produce! We have a few pints/quarts of regeneratively-grown zucchini, turnips, and potatoes, and lots of cherries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, honey, and more. It’s going to be a good weekend!

We take the firewood side of our farm stand seriously! When campers buy our seasoned firewood bundles, they’re getting sustainably harvested Doug fir and hardwoods from our property. In addition to select cutting deadwood, we’re currently harvesting trees from a site that was deeply damaged 70+ years ago when it was excavated to build the highway. After decades of abandonment, erosion, and topsoil loss, we’re building back the topsoil, and planting in edible trees such as elderberry, cherry, pear, apple, serviceberry, huckleberry, walnut, etc for a diverse and abundant polyculture that will provide for our family, our farmstand customers, and the local wildlife.  the new trees will be planted at about a three to one ratio to the trees we have removed.

Getting the stand ready for the 4th of July rush! We just harvested no-spray turnips, and are now featuring delicious jellies and organic freeze-dried strawberries from Cabin Creek. We have lots of organic sourdough and  focaccia baked fresh, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. God willing we will have Albion strawberries ready tomorrow if the weather cooperates!

Gabby is hard at work day and night making her delicious, organic sourdough bread!

Just a few of the varieties include whole wheat, seedy sourdough, honey lavender, and cinnamon sugar.

We have it at the stand typically starting around 11 am until it sells out (Which never takes too long). Feel free to message or call ahead to save a loaf!

Found the mother load of delicious native thimbleberry! We don’t have any of those at the stand because we couldn’t stop eating them.

However, we do have thimbleberry plants, and fresh picked strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries this morning. Hope to see you between where Hwy 6 and 8 meet!

Good morning from the farm stand! We’ve got a full day planned of staking tomatoes, adding walls to the stand, and baking sourdough. What’s your office look like today?

It’s the best time of the year! We still have strawberries, and blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and native blackcaps are all starting to roll in!
