Apocalypse Ale Works & Beer Garden The meaning of "apocalypse" is: the end for a new beginning. The end of bad beer is here! Our mission is to brew quality beer for all palates.
(1188)

Apocalypse Ale Works is the first brewery in Forest, Virginia since Thomas Jefferson brewed in the 1800's at Poplar Forest. In addition to a brewery, we also have a tasting room, where the public can try our products. We are located in the old Forest Volunteer Fire Department, beside Pints O'Plenty. The brewery sells kegs all over the state of Virginia, with an emphasis on supplying the local restaurants first.

Time to round up your friends who know way too much about absolutely useless things. Tonight, that knowledge might actually pay off. 🏆

🥏 I’m also dangerously close to throwing a Disc Golf round into the mix. Is that a brilliant idea or just me finding another way to annoy you? 😂

🎃 Alright, we need your input! And preferably your honest input.

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which sounds like the perfect setup for a big night out, right? Well, not necessarily.

We’ve been doing this long enough to know Halloween can be a lot like the Super Bowl. Everyone has big plans, but a whole lot of those plans involve someone’s living room. 😂

We’re happy to open, but we need to know you want to be here!

We’ve kicked around the idea of a $5 cover charge, with 100% of that money going straight to the winner of a costume contest. The more people who show up, the bigger the cash prize.

But here’s the actual question:

Do we open for Halloween and make a night of it, or do we close early and let everyone enjoy their house parties?

We’re not doing the whole “if this gets 100 likes, we’ll open” thing. We’re genuinely asking because we’d rather make a decision based on what people actually plan to do.

And please, don’t tell us you’re coming just to be nice. We love moral support, but unfortunately it doesn’t pay the electric bill. 😂

So, what’s the verdict? Are you going out for Halloween or staying home?

The floor is yours. We’re listening. 🍻🎃
