New favorite crop! This purple sprouting broccoli (variety “bonarda”) is finally poppin after 7+ months in the field. These plants grew tall and strong and weathered winter wind, rain, frost and are so delicious and sweet. So grateful to have this (non-leafy) food during this “hunger gap” time. We’ve got heaps today! And thanks to for the tip on growing this! 😊
