We have barnyard game mix chicks for sale at $8/each (chicks only, not parents). These chicks are all hand-raised, free-range birds. Our birds do not stay in cages - they should be capable of roosting in trees and foraging as their parents do. We feed chick starter as they grow, then switch to a seed-based feed mixed with a supplement pellet as they learn to forage naturally alongside their parents. **Note: Parents are NOT for sale, they are pictured so you can see the genetics of the chicks for sale.** PM or contact Drew Rogers if interested.

Here is a photo of a female eastern carpenter bee in our garden at the pole beans today. DID YOU KNOW? Different from how a honeybee pollinates, the carpenter bee performs “buzz pollination.” Buzz pollination means it will grab onto the pollen-producing parts of the flower and vibrate its wings very rapidly. The vibrations loosen/dislodge the pollen grains. Buzz pollination is beneficial for many vegetable and fruit crops, such as tomatoes, zucchinis and blueberries.
