Finally a warm and calm spring day! Seed is going out, The planters are rolling, and the corn/ soybeans are going in the ground!!!

Things are always evolving in the seed world! Corteva agriscience, the parent company of Dairyland Seed has made the announcement this week that they will be Unifying 4 seed brands into one. Dairyland Seed being one of those brands. We have been a part of Dairyland Seed for over twenty years! Though it is hard to see the 119 year old Dairyland Seed name go away, we are excited for the next chapter with Hoegemeyer Seed!

For our Dairyland Customers: nothing will change for 2026 and for 2027 we will still carry many of the same grain corn and silage hybrids that you have known to trust!!! We expect this transition to be smooth with no major impacts affecting your operation.

Hoegemeyer seed will now be the 6th largest seed brand in the U.S. we expect to offer even a larger competitive edge on both quality genetics and price point for our customers!!!

Corteva Agriscience is unifying its regionally focused seed brands under the Hoegemeyer® brand name for the 2027 planting season.

Customers can expect a continued commitment to local products built for their growing conditions, backed with personalized support through our local seed dealer network.
