If you are wondering why our nation has low reading scores listen to this podcast! Unbiased news reporting is an important American right we have. Knowing and understanding our American reading weakness should be important to everyone. Ask the hard questions, be proactive even when everyone seems to ignore you or wants it to go away because it will only snowball into a national crisis if we all ignore the obvious. Ryan and I were not 4-Hers as kids but glad we had our children take part. Clayton's first district club days and his last. He very strongly disliked project talks but was glad he had the public speaking - esp when he had to give a best man speech! He tested every way to get out of it but we always told him it is part of being a 4-Her and someday you will thank us. All of our kids said they learned a lot and were very grateful we had them in 4-H! Thank you to all the 4-H leaders, River Valley 4-H staff members and many supporters over the years! Next up Regionals!!!
