It was a great weekend. Got to fire up the smoker, season and and slow smoke several racks of pork back ribs. Mmmmmgoooood.

Since the weather is going to take a big turn for the worse tomorrow...Today was the perfect day to do some back ribs.

It’s been a LONG week prepping, smoking, pulling and vacuum sealing. Couldn’t have done it without the help of my wife, Henrie Valencia Hull, my son Robby Jeffrey and my daughter-in-law Leigh Hull. We (Double 6 cook team) had a cook yesterday at North Central Ford. It was sponsored by the Block Foundation which raises money for Veterans and First Responders in need. Ran into several old friends and made many new ones. We even got along real well with a great group of DFD firemen who were set up next to us LOL. It gave us a chance to feed a whole lot of hungry people and raise money for causes near and dear to our hearts.

Lone Star Grillz large insulated vault smoker. This baby works like a charm. Rain or shine....Winter or Summer. Absolutely love it. Will hold 16 large Butts or 8 full packers or a whole mess of chicken.
