Our Story

Cowboy Meat Company is a Forsyth, Montana based Meat Processing Plant and Retail outlet for high quality meat and Made in Montana products. Cowboy Meats was formed in June of 2020 after the acquisition of C&K Meats by the Hollenbeck Family. C&K had a wonderful 23 year run with the business and that track record allowed a bright torch to be handed to CMC to be carried on for future generations.

We pride ourselves in being highly trained meat professionals that want to help you in receiving a high quality, nutritional product. We carry our own line of smokehouse products along with a variety of hand cut steak options ready for any occasion!

Southeastern Montana is home to some of the world’s most productive range land resources, which is why CMC also does custom processing for the area farmers and ranchers giving them an avenue to promote their locally raised products direct to consumer. We are experienced in beef, pork, and lamb processing.

Cowboy Meats conducts itself within the values of the Code of the West. We pride ourselves in marrying the concept of western heritage with a high tech future of meat processing creating high value products based right here in Montana.
