It’s time to move the herd from their summer pasture to their winter pasture.

Apparently, that decision was not unanimous. 😂

At least the Irish Dexters understood the assignment! The rest of the herd needed a little more convincing.

From the molds to the cutting table! 🐐🧼🤎

Yesterday’s rainy weather gave us the perfect excuse to spend the day making fresh batches of our handmade goat milk soap.

Today was the fun part: cutting into the loaves and finally getting to see how those swirls turned out! 😍

One of my favorite things about making soap is that you never know exactly what the inside is going to look like until that first cut. Every bar ends up a little different, and that’s part of what makes handmade products so special.

Now these beauties are headed off to cure for the next several weeks before they’re ready for the farmstand! 🤎

Finding a little peace in the middle of a busy season. 🍂🤎

Yesterday was one of those days where I just had nothing left.

We were finally getting the last of the hay baled. The rounds were done, and we were working on the small squares when the baler started having trouble tying.

After the last few months of one thing after another breaking, being repaired, breaking again, and plans constantly changing, that was about it for me.

I finally threw my hands up and said, “Lord, please just let them tie until we’re done because I can’t take anymore today.”

And they did.

Every bale we needed tied, and we finished the hay.

Then, when we were done, I walked over to the baler and realized none of the bales still sitting inside it were tied.

The baler wasn’t magically fixed. We just got exactly what we needed to finish.

Maybe someone else needs this reminder today as much as I did yesterday. Sometimes God doesn’t remove the problem. Sometimes He simply gives you enough to get through it. 🤎

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

God is so good. 🤎🌾
