First year for our oldest son showing and one we definitely won’t forget. 🐮🍀🤎

Today was Youth Show Day at the Washington County Fair, and all of the practicing, washing, walking, brushing, and work leading up to today paid off.

He’s coming out of his very first show with some ribbons on the wall and, most exciting of all, Champion Showperson for novice showmanship! 🏆

Couldn’t be more proud of the work that went into getting here, but even more proud of everything he learned along the way. This is what fair week is all about. 🤎

I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

It’s officially FAIR WEEK! 🐮🎡🍀

The cows are settled in, our little corner of the barn is ready, and the Washington County Fair opens TODAY at 5 PM!

We’ve put a whole lot of work into getting these girls and Rocky ready for this week, and we’re so excited to finally be here. 🤎

This year is extra special because it’s our oldest son’s first year showing, and we can’t wait to watch him step into the ring for the first time.

It’s Friday, but things look a little different around here this week! 🐮🎡

We are officially in full-on fair mode, so there will be no fresh baked goods in the farm stand this weekend or next weekend while we turn our attention to the Washington County Fair.

🥚 Fresh eggs will be stocked later today

The stand is still self serve as usual, so feel free to stop by!
