SLBS friends, I need some advice. I'm heading down to cook in the Sizzlin on 66 SLBS Pro Competition in October and it's my first SLBS Comp. What advice can you give me as far as cook goals (like how taste and tenderness are judged) and any other advice or information you think I may need. Any help is appreciated! Tuesday morning question time. Whats your favorite “non- traditional” food to smoke? Smoked cream cheese with cinnamon toast crunch seasoning is a huge favorite in our house.

Cambridge Rib Fest 2026 is in the books and what a day it was. It started out cool but muggy, then we got nailed with an absolute cracker of a thunderstorm that almost killed our canopy. The Masterbuilt 1050 held on though and as the day went by, it got better and better.

We only cooked Baby Back Ribs today and in a field of 16 people, we took 3rd! Not bad for our first regular comp of the year. I couldnt be happier with the day.

Huge shoutout to Dani and Ellie for helping, i love you both!
