The day is here! Tacos, Trivia…and Teachers!

Today is the last work day of the 2025-2026 school year for our community’s teachers! This day is “fore” you! $4 Margaritas and $4 Nachos when you present your school ID. And no, it’s not just for Fort…ALL local teachers, come on in!

Today is annual “beat Berman at golf day”! So to celebrate, I’m beating Berman at golf!! 🙌🏼

Weekend days are made for family fun! Take them to the Fort Farmers Market, the Car Show, the Museum and Library…then feed them and perfect their golf swing at the shack!

And big kids, you can have fun until midnight tonight 😉

The Shack is open Saturday-Monday for regular hours, and while it’s all fun at games at the Shack, let us not forget what Memorial Weekend is really about.

We encourage you to participate in the local events for Fort Atkinson’s Memorial Day.

Breakfast at the American Legion Dugout, 201 S. Water St. E., from 6:30 to 9:30 AM, with Marine observance begins at 10 a.m.

The parade will start at 10:25 a.m. from the American Legion Dugout to the Evergreen Cemetery.

Observance at Evergreen Cemetery will begin at 11 a.m.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1879 also will have a ceremony followed by a luncheon starting at noon outside the clubhouse at N2074 Vets Lane, Fort Atkinson.

If you choose to spend your Monday with us, you’ll be contributing to raising funds for these local posts, as we donate a portion of our sales.
