A little hop harvest happened at the Pub recently! Late September, Assistant Brewmaster Obed Salazar and Cellar Supervisor Cuco Huerta spent some time picking hops from the vines growing right here at the Pub. Those hops are now headed for a small batch brew this fall!

It’s Barrel Aged B**r Day, and we’re celebrating one of our favorites: Barrel Aged Old Rasputin! From the brewhouse floor to the bottle and pour, there’s a lot that goes into giving this b**r its character. We take our already dark, complex, Old Rasputin and age it in barrels to develop layers of flavor that you just can’t get from the brew kettle alone; every barrel bringing a little something different to the final b**r.

OKTOBERFEST IS BACK AT THE PUB!

Our small-batch Festbier is back for a limited time, only available on tap in the Pub. Last Saturday, the NCBC crew grabbed gloves and trash buckets and headed out to Virgin Creek Beach for Coastal Cleanup Day! It was a great day to get outside, get our hands dirty, and do our part to take care of our local shoreline. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up for the places we love!

We’re heading to Torrance on Saturday, November 7 for the return of the Summit B**r Festival!

North Coast Brewing Co. will be pouring alongside 80+ California breweries, with unlimited tastings, live music, local eats, and plenty of independent craft b**r to discover, all in support of California Craft Brewers Association and California’s independent craft brewing community. So join us at the Western Museum of Flight and between pours, take in vintage aircraft and aviation exhibits for a festival experience that’s a little out of the ordinary.
