Great beer starts with great water. Ours flows from the Noyo River watershed, a pristine coastal source just steps from the Pacific Ocean. Protecting that water is part of how we brew responsibly.

Through thoughtful drainage management and our in-house water recycling program, we work to keep pollutants out of local waterways and the ocean beyond. Since 2015, we’ve proudly maintained certification through the California State Water Resources Control Board for meeting the highest standards in stormwater runoff protection: No Exposure.

It’s one more way we’re committed to brewing beer that not only tastes good but does good too.

Beer tastes even better with a little harbor hopping. Grab a North Coast Brewing beer at two local Noyo Harbor retailers, Sea Pal Cove and Casa Del Sol. Fresh seafood, harbor views, cold beer, and that laid-back Fort Bragg energy we never get tired of.

What’s left after brewing doesn’t go to waste...it goes to work.

Several times a week, we load up our spent grain and send it just down the road to Fortunate Farm in Caspar, CA, where it’s turned into nutrient-rich compost. It’s all part of closing the loop: brewing great beer while giving those ingredients a second life back in the soil.

Good for the beer. Better for the planet. 🍺🌎
