Meet Your Neighborhood Flower Farmer:

I’m Matt. I’m a guy with a dream and an adventure on the horizon. I’m an experienced gardener, who used to consider plants just a hobby. But after more than a decade of unhappiness in a desk job, I decided to take a leap of faith. In April of 2018, I voluntarily left my employment in the insurance industry to follow my heart, feed my soul, and work with my hands. I’m married to my college sweetheart, and we have 3 little boys together (5 years, 3 years, and a baby.) I now stay home full-time to raise my kids, while also converting our backyard into a highly-efficient small-scale flower farm. Each day in the garden with my boys is a gift filled with teachable moments. The more dirt under our fingernails the better! I’ve been a resident of Fort Collins for more than a decade, and a horticulture enthusiast for almost 20 years, but it seems that my story is only just starting now. I’m excited for the journey, and hope you’ll tag along.
