I used to make a lot of cakes before I had kids and a real job, but now I have 3 kids and am a full time nurse and I don't really have the time for it anymore, unless it's for my kiddos birthday's.

First attempt at sugar glass for the fire side of Shelby's Todoroki birthday cake this weekend! (Took two tries because the directions said it was ready when candy thermometer was at 300 and it burned at around 215/230). Going to make blue tomorrow!

Had a lot of fun making my daughters emoji cupcakes today.......all free hand fondant work. Ran out of frosting for the p**p emoji cake, so that will have to be finished in the morning. :)

Not my best work, but I've been working A LOT and don't have the time to go all out on cakes anymore! Shelby wanted a rainbow, so that's what she got. :) She also wants Paw Patrol cupcakes to go with it.
