Note from Chef/Owner (Sandra):

After a little over four years of owning & founding Poeme Macarons, I have some bittersweet news to share! I have decided to step back from operating Poeme Macarons to pursue other exciting opportunities & bring more balance in my life. This means that we will be temporarily closing for an undetermined length of time starting January 16th (Sunday January 15th will be the last day I conduct business operations myself) while we transition to what might come next. We will be open Wednesday-Sunday these next two weeks, with normal hours (12-5pm Wed-Fri & Sunday, 10am-5pm Saturdays). Stop by to say goodbye & get stocked up on our macarons (they freeze excellent)!

I started Poeme with just myself four years ago at the age of 24, and it has been a tremendously fulfilling & transformative experience that I am extraordinarily grateful for. I wanted to create a unique & creative macaron that was a treat-yourself experience with options everyone could enjoy, and I am proud of what we accomplished. There have been challenges throughout, but with each challenge, I learned a new skill and found strength within myself and this community that I didn’t even realize was there. I greatly appreciate my supportive clients, both new and old, as well as my incredible staff, friends & family who have helped me grow my small business. This support was indispensable to our growth!

Over the last year, I have realized I would like to pursue other opportunities and have more balance in my personal & work life. Owning and founding a business has been a unique & incredible experience, but it is now time for me to say goodbye. Thank you SO much to everyone for supporting me, my staff, & Poeme Macarons!

About Us

Poeme Macarons is named after an illustrious violin piece with the same name, written by composer Ernest Chausson (who is, appropriately, French). A staple in the violin repertoire, Poeme Macarons will soon become your staple macaron—if it hasn’t already! Poeme means poem in French (such a hard translation, we know) and was written to be a love song by Chausson, full of ethereal moodiness that brings out the tumultuous and exuberant emotions of passion and love. Each time you try a Poeme macaron, discover the diverse and intense flavors that mimic Chausson’s masterpiece—and fall in love with every bite.
