Timnath Introduces New Road Signage in Rural Areas to Foster Safety Among Cyclists and Drivers

To enhance road safety in Timnath, especially along its rural routes where bike lanes and wide shoulders are scarce, new road signs remind motorists to give bicycles 3 feet of clearance. The initiative comes as part of a broader campaign to raise awareness and educate both cyclists and drivers on how to coexist safely on our roads. Most importantly, be patient and cautious and give plenty of space while passing bicyclists.

- Drivers: Maintain a 3-foot clearance and pass only when safe.
- Cyclists: Signal, light up, pair up wisely, and navigate lanes with care.

It is that time of year again. The Angel tree is up in the shop. We have multiple tags that we would love to fill. These gifts stay in the Highland community. Sadly most of them are clothing needs and definitely not extravagant requests. We are open M-F 8-5. Let’s all put something special under the tree for these families. We appreciate the help! 🎄✝️🎅🎁

Edit to add: gifts need to wrapped and tag attached. They will be picked up on December 16th.

We are also collecting food for the same families.
