“PROUD DAD”
Words can’t put into perspective the amount of happiness & joy this young man brings to everyone around him! I couldn’t be prouder of him & the man he is becoming! Love son!
Summer is winding down, and another successful leadership conference is in the books! The newly elected American Junior Board of Directors (AJMAA) has hit the ground running with MAINE, setting big goals and exciting plans as we head into fall.
But before we get too far ahead, let’s meet your 2025–2026 AJMAA Junior Board, starting with our President, Parker Lockhart!
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
There’s a quote from Matthew McConaughey where he says “My hero is me in 10 years.” That mindset pushes me to be the best version of myself and creates a clear vision of who I want to become. I know what I’m capable of, and this idea helps me work toward it every day.
What is your favorite Maine-Anjou memory or junior national theme?
My favorite memory is definitely all the moments spent at the Maine Event. It’s a time when all the Maine juniors can hang out, build friendships, and connect without the stress of taking care of show cattle. While we all love to exhibit, it’s important to remember that the real purpose of this association is to bring people closer together.
Quote or Saying you Live By?
“Be great.”
A reminder from my mom every time I leave for anything. It reminds me to strive for greatness in all aspects of life, and if I do that, I will be respected, successful, and stay out of trouble.
