Haven’t posted in a while….
Had my third surgery at the end of May, so work around the homestead has been slow…
That also means part of my garden didn’t get planted, as I was just not physically able.
But thanks to a couple work weekends with the family and my parents….and we were able to get some projects done
- The exterior of the new chicken coop
Is finished, and wiring is ran inside. The door got put in last week, but Still have the windows to put on and finish the inside.
- The ducks killed and ate their babies….Some decided to let them free range. So we took their run down, and filled in the pond (thanks to Ace Hardware in Delphos, where we rented a tractor). The tractor made easy work of filling in their little pond.
- I did get out to the garden….i pushed myself a little too much, but I did get the mint and lemon balm cut back, as it was just going everywhere. And I also pulled some of the onions that had fallen over.
