It started out as quite a rough year with 2 bear attacks on our hives. Worst part was that we were on vacation when it happened but thankfully our neighbor helped put them back together the best he could. After having to requeen 3 out of the 4 hives and added an electric fence so hopefully no more issues with bears, the girls made quite the comeback. We were able to leave the girls with plenty of honey and also harvest honey to sell. If anyone is looking for honey, you can reach out to me. Thanks!

Super exciting day today at Sacandaga Hillside Farm... Tapped 95 trees today and hooked up the lines to a small vaccum pump and the sap is flowing! Going to be an exciting spring!
