Mahi Mahi is a noble fish with white meat, known as dorado, dolphin fish, dolphin fish or parakeet.
It is an oceanic and neritic epipelagic species of tropical and subtropical waters, appearing in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans.
It is fished throughout the Peruvian coast, with its most intense season of capture between the southern spring and summer, when the specimens reach their largest size. It is fished with a hook or spinel.
